The 10th annual Toronto Independent Music Awards were handed out last night at an event at Tattoo Rock Parlour.

Best Country: Emily Reid

Best Jazz or Instrumental: Micah Barnes

Best Adult Contemporary or Singer-Songwriter: Tobias The Owl

Best Urban: Allan Rayman

Best Folk: JoJo Worthington

Best Metal, Punk, Ska, or Surf: Hallows Die Best

Out-Of-Province: Jai Nitai Lotus

Best Song: JoJo Worthington

After seeing them at Riot Fest, it's hard to argue with picking The Beaches.
