AroarA is the new band from Andrew Whiteman (formerly of Broken Social Scene) and Ariel Engle. The duo are preparing to release their debut EP, In the Pines, on March 12th.
The record is based on the writings of avant-garde poet Alice Notley. At first blush it seems a little too conceptual for my tastes, but I'm willing to give it a shot anyway.
