This week's entertainment picks: Grimes, The Heavy

It is another incredibly busy week for live music in Toronto.  You can find something spectacular every night.  For the sake of narrowing it down, here are my picks:

Grimes, Lee's Palace, September 21 & 22
The Polaris short-listed Grimes has been riding high on a wave of success.  She seems determined to make her eclectic sound ubiquitous.  This should be a great show.

The Heavy, Lee's Palace, September 23
British soul rockers The Heavy come on the strength of their killer sweaty rhythm & blues record The Glorious Dead.  Get ready to get dirty.
