Permanent Vacation: "Motel"

When I think about Shoegazer as a genre the first thing that comes to mind is walls of feedback and guitar squeal (which I love by the way).  That's certainly not the case for Toronto band Permanent Vacation.  They've taken a definite Shoegazer sound and mellowed it down.

Have a listen to their single "Motel", which seems to owe just as much to The Stone Roses as it does to Ride:

The band are currently working on a proper album.
