More To Explore: Instant Empire

Instant Empire
For those who like: The Hold Steady

Heavy Hollow is the second release from Denver's Instant Empire.  Judging from the sound they really belong in Minneapolis though.  There's no avoiding the comparison to The Hold Steady on tracks like "Broadcast on Your Behalf" and "Crooked (and Broken)".  Furthermore, the vocals sound eerily similar to another MPLS product, Dave Pirner.

That makes it all good from where I sit.
