Canadian Hip Hop Documentary screening this summer

I don't know about you, but in my eyes there's nothing more quintessentially Canadian than hip hop.  Okay, so that sentence is complete bullshit, but our country does have a rich history with the genre.  That history is explored in the new documentary Hip Hop Eh.

Five years in the making, the film talks to a who's who of Canadian hip hop, including Buck 65, Maestro (nee Fresh Wes), Dream Warriors, Shad, and even noted rapper Tom Green of Organized Rhyme.

Watch the trailer for the film here:

Hip Hop Eh will be screening in select cities over the summer, with a stop at the Projection Booth in Toronto on July 29th.
