James And Blackburn are a Toronto-based alt rock trio with a new album, Island Universe, in their back pocket. Their songs swing from sprawling spacey indie rock, to more grounded roots-tinged music. Without going through their iTunes library one would hazard a guess that it consists of 2/3 Modest Mouse, 1/3 Wilco.
