I'm not terribly familiar with the work of Toronto folk-pop musician Carlo Meriano, but from what I do know has certainly piqued my interest. Anyone who counts both The Magnetic Fields and Johnny Cash among his influences will no doubt have a unique take on music.
Meriano launches his new 9-song album, Sticka Ikebana this week with a release show at The Painted Lady in Toronto on December 4th.
It should be a glockenspiel and ukulele party.
