Quick Hits: Diana Pops, Tyburn Saints

Here's a quick look at things I couldn't address properly this week:

Diana Pops, For Bright Minds In Dark Corners
This is the forthcoming EP from the Winnipeg singer/songwriter.  These four tracks have earned her comparisons to the likes of Tori Amos, Sarah McLachlan, and Norah Jones.

If that intrigues you, then be sure to check it out with the record gets released on February 22nd.

Tyburn Saints, For The Benefit of Strangers
Who among us doesn't like a good murder ballad?  Personally, I can't get enough of them.  Unfortunately Nick Cave can only produce so many albums.  That's where Brooklyn's Tyburn Saints step in.  If you like your music with a heap of American Gothic doom-and-gloom, then this band and this album are calling your name.
