Tristan Clopet releases name-your-price "Purple" EP

Toronto-born, Miami-based musician Tristan Clopet has just released a new EP entitled Purple.  The record is available for download from Clopet's site using the Radiohead pay-what-you-will method.

On this record Clopet is backed by The Juice, giving the songs a fuller and often funkier sound than we've heard from him in the past.  Tracks like "Ethereal Evidence" even enter the realm of Red Hot Chili Peppers.  And not the crappy Californication RCHP but the good Mother's Milk RHCP.

Sadly though, "So Alive" is not a cover of one of my favorite Love & Rockets tunes.
