Twentyfourbit is reporting that the next installment of Johnny Cash's Rick Rubin-produced album series, American VI: Ain't No Grave, will be released on February 23rd.While I'm a huge fan of Cash, I'm starting to get worried about a posthumous Tupac-ing of the legend. We've already had American V, as well as a gospel album, an atrocious remix collection, and countless live albums and re-issues. There's too much of a danger for dubious quality when you delve too deep into a vault, even one as great as Cash's.
According to the site the track list may or may not be:
- Ain’t No Grave
- Redemption Day
- For The Good Times
- First Corinthians
- Where I’m Bound
- Satisfied Mind
- It Don’t Hurt Anymore
- Cool Clear Water
- Last Night I Had The Strangest Dream
- Aloha
