Canadian indie/folk/reggae/ska hybrid Bedouin Soundclash are in for a busy 2010. Not only have they launched their own record label, Pirates Blend, but they are also planning to release a new album in the late summer.
On top of that the band's Jay Malinowski has his first solo album ready to go. The album, Bright Lights and Bruises, is set for a February 16th release. You can hear some of the songs, including the first single "Love Is a Gun", on his Myspace page.
Malinowski will be hitting a ton of southern Ontario cities in support of the record including:
- Peterborough, Red Dog, Mar 3
- Ottawa, Mavericks, Mar 8
- Waterloo, Starlight, Mar 9
- Hamilton, The Casbah, Mar 10
