Introducing: Pam Shaffer

Pam Shaffer is an LA musician and self-described "sexy librarian with a killer shoe collection".  As someone married to a librarian this obviously intrigues me.

More intriguing however is Shaffer's music.  Her new EP, Hot Star Maps, is a collection of four haunting tracks based on her life in LA that will appeal to fans of Regina Spektor, Tori Amos, and even Marissa Nadler.

Shaffer is currently working on a full length album based on the life of Anais Nin.  Should be interesting to hear.
