Beck: Velvet Underground's "Sunday Morning" cover

I don't think I'd be turning over any national security secrets by saying the Beck is eccentric. Dude does some odd things sometimes.

Now he's in the process of releasing a track-for-track cover of one of my favorite albums of all time, The Velvet Underground & Nico. Each week he will be releasing a different songs from the album via his website.

According to Pitchfork, Beck will be giving the same track-for-track cover treatment to Sonic Youth's 1986 classic EVOL in the near future. Apparently, that will be part of a greater Sonic Youth box set.
