Brian Molko and the guys in Placebo have announced the release of their new album. Battle For the Sun will be out on June 8th in the UK (assume June 9 in North America).The album was recording right here in Toronto with producer Dave Bottrill and mixed by Alan Moulder.

The title track is going to be premiered on Zane Lowe's BBC show today at 7:00pm London time (2:00pm Toronto time). You can hear it here.
