Indie popster Dylan Connor has recently released his sophomore album Breakaway and Burn (my review here).As a follow-up treat, Connor has done a track-by-track cover of Weezer's Green Album, cleverly entitled Almost Green Album. It's not unlike Ben Lee's take on Against Me!'s New Wave.
The album is a faithful, yet acoustic recitation of Weezer's third album. Every song is covered, including the hits "Hash Pipe" and "Island In the Sun". Although, the best versions may be deeper album tracks like "Crab" and "Knock Down Drag Out War".
