The best LA-based quartet named after an actor from Barney Miller are back. That's right, Abe Vigoda have just released their Reviver EP.
The four-piece manage to pack a lot of bang and clatter into the five-song set. Fans of noise rock will happily embrace the muffled din of songs like "House" and "Endless Sleeper".
Luckily Reviver is only an EP because the songs tend to sound very similar very quickly. With the exception of the clockwork rhythm of "Wild Heart" and the meticulous and methodical guitar feedback of "The Reaper", the songs are pretty much interchangeable.
Hopefully Abe Vigoda can muster pen some more distinctive tunes for their full length album.
