A Camp is a Swedish trio who have recently announced the release of their North American debut. Colonia is the group's sophomore album in Sweden, it is the first by the band to come out on this side of the pond.While you may not be familiar with A Camp as a whole, you will undoubtedly recognize the voice of their lead singer. Yes, those are the pixie-like tones of The Cardigans' Nina Persson you're hearing. You can hear some tracks here.
Joining Persson and her mates are guests which include the reclusive musical genius Mark Linkous (Sparklehorse) and Joan Wasser (Joan As Police Woman).
Colonia will be released on April 28th.
