Everybody's favorite keyboardist/accordion player Franz Nicolay has announced details of his first solo album. The Hold Steady's multi-instrumentalist will be releasing Major General on January 13th.The 13-track album will include many guest appearances including Brian Viglione of The Dresden Dolls. Franz Nicolay is currently on tour as part of The Hold Steady. The band will be pulling into The Phoenix in Toronto on November 11th along with Drive-By Truckers.
