Here's a look at what you should be attending this week...if you have good taste:
Ra Ra Riot, Sept. 4th, The Horseshoe
Syracuse, NY indie rockers bring their Arcade Fire sound to our fair city. The internet buzz around the band has been overwhelming.
Virgin Festival, Sept. 6th & 7th, Toronto Island
Saturday we get Foo Fighters, Bloc Party, The Kooks, The Fratellis, Against Me!, MGMT, and more. Sunday sees set from Oasis, Paul Weller, Silversun Pickups, The Weakerthans, The Cribs, and the Stereophonics. On paper it's the best line-up coming through Toronto this year.

Tips on the must performances at Virgin, if you have tickets but a short attention span?
Saturday's tough, but I'd say the musts are Bloc Party, Against Me!, MGMT, and Toxic Airborne Event (but they go on so early it may not work out).
Sunday is easier. The musts are just Oasis and Paul Weller.
